How To Whiten A Stained And Moldy Bathtub

The bathtub gathers layers of soap scum, detergents, softeners and other similar products that are deposited and create a layer of extremely repulsive dirt. If you find yourself in this situation, do not despair because there are several solutions to remove these stains that leaves your tub sparkling white, like new.

Bleach

Put 100ml of bleach into a spray bottle and spread it all over the bathtub. Immediately rub the bathtub with a sponge soaked in bleach and let it act for at least 10 minutes. Finally rinse with hot water.

Laundry detergent

Manual or automatic detergent has a strong action on the dirt accumulated on the bathtub. Fill a cup with detergent, wash the bathtub and spread the detergent everywhere. Rub the bathtub with a sponge and insist on problem areas. If you want a more powerful effect, you can spray a little chlorine over. Rinse the bathtub after 20 minutes. It will be like new.

Vinegar and baking soda

Vinegar and baking seem to become two indispensable ingredients for a perfect home. Spread 2 tbs of baking soda all over the bathtub surface and then wash off with a sponge soaked in vinegar.
This method is an ecological one, so you can use it with confidence.
After half an hour, rinse the tub with hot water.

Descaling agent

If the bathtub dirt is very strong and you can’t remove it under any circumstances, use descaling agent. It is highly toxic, so you need to handle it carefully (use gloves and surgical mask), but the results are amazing. Use it as you use the bleach and we guarantee that you’ll be amazed by the results.
