The Easy And Non-Toxic Way To Remove Hard Water Deposits From Taps And Shower Head

Lime scale is very unsightly and can hide germs, mildew and rust. Yes, you may want to change the taps instead of cleaning them, thinking is a tough task to do. But, that’s absolutely not true, because there are some tricks that will help you to transform this hard task into an easy-peasy one.

Get rid of the lime scale on the shower

The shower head can be filled with hard water deposits, and the water won’t flow anymore. The best natural solution for cleaning the shower head is to sink it into a vinegar solution. Put the shower head in a plastic bag (you can unscrew it, or you can tie the bag on it), pour white vinegar, enough to cover it, and tie the bag. Let it stand overnight, and then rinse well in the morning with lukewarm water.

Lemon cleans the sink quickly and easily

If you don’t like the smell of vinegar, or you have a small and less ventilated bathroom, you can successfully use lemon juice instead of white vinegar. Cut a lemon half and rub the sink drain and the tap with it. You can leave the lemon over the drain for a quicker effect.

Leave it to act for about 20 minutes, and then wipe it with a dry thick cloth.
