Sweat is one of the main reasons that cause yellow pillows. Even when you’re sleeping, your body continues to sweat in order to achieve a comfortable body temperature.
Depending on the type of material the pillow is made of, sweat can seep into the fabric. There, sweat dries and leaves yellow stains. Even if you use pillowcases you can’t avoid this issue.
Pillows should be washed at least twice a year or at regular intervals.
– 4 cups hot water
– 1 cup laundry detergent
– 1 cup dishwashing detergent
– 1 cup bleach
– 1 cup borax
Put the pillows in the washing machine. Mix all ingredients and pour the resulted concoction over the pillows. Start the washing machine.
This recipe works just like a miracle.
