The transition seasons or the cold season is the time when we start using sweaters and coats. One of the inconveniences of fluffy clothing is that they tend to build-up electric charges due to dryness, friction, and other causes. But there are some tricks to get rid of this static cling and to prevent fashion damages.
Hair spray does real wonders for static cling clothes.
So, put your clothing item on a hanger, and spray it with hair spray from a distance, not to leave traces on it. As a tip, you should focus on the area that sticks to you often.
Mix 1 part of laundry conditioner with 2 parts of water in a spray bottle, and spray all over the coat or clothing item. Or, spray only in the areas that are clinging to your skin.
Use a metal hanger to slide the effects of static cling. The metal will discharge the electricity, removing the static effect.
So, pass a metal hanger over the clothes you want to put on, and then pass it over the skin. But you should act immediately. This way the static energy will be removed.
